Breaking the 2D Barrier—Benefits of Building Information Modeling Using VectorWorks

Nemetschek North America’s Dan Monaghan will present a project demonstrating the benefits of BIM over traditional CAD design. The presentation will showcase the advantages of working in a coordinated 2D/3D workflow. You’ll learn about the flexibility and speed of designing with intelligent objects, as well as the power of integrating information into the design. He’ll also discuss what BIM isn’t and the limitation of today’s BIM programs. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A.
