VCU is currently renovating, expanding and converting the old “Central Belting Hose and Rubber Co.” building at 110 S. Jefferson Street into the new home for the VCU AdCenter. Baskervill and CliveWilkinson Architects have teamed up on the architectural services and the new building will be a showpiece for the school and city. The general contractor, Kjellstrom-Lee, is well into the project, which makes this an ideal time to put it on AIA Richmond’s Intern Hard Hat Tour. The tour will run for approximately 1 hour and start promptly at 5:00 pm on July 19th.
Please see the links below for AIA Richmond’s Hard Hat Tour overview and Tour waiver forms. All attendees will be required to complete and turn in the waiver form, prior to the tour.
Attendees are responsible for bringing their own hard hats, safety glasses and must wear closed toed shoes.
