Come explore a multi-award winning and very forward looking solar house designed and built by the students and faculty of the Virginia Tech Colleges of Architecture and Urban Studies, and Engineering. Designed for the 2005 U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon competition, the house has been featured nationally on ABC's "Extreme Makeover Home Edition," on PBS's "This Old House," on HGTV's "I Want That," and in many national magazines.
